Accra Lions defeated Bibiani GoldStars in the Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday afternoon.
Yahaya Mohammed and Kwame Awuni scored a goal in each half to lead the Lions to a crucial 2-0 victory on matchday 26.
Mohammed scored the first goal in the 19th minute with a slick finish, before Awuni added the second three minutes later.
The result moves Accra Lions to fifth place in the league rankings, level on points with defending champions Medeama.
