Asante Kotoko secured their first three points of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season following their victory over Accra Lions.
The Porcupine Warriors needed a late strike from their latest signing Kalo Ouattara to clinch the maximum points at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday afternoon.
Kotoko had started with no wins in their first three games in the league after losing one and drawing the other two.
Prosper Ogum returned to the club ahead of the new season as head coach and has struggled to get the best out of his team so far until the game against Lions.
The win also sees Kotoko move from the 18th position to occupy the ninth spot on the league table.
They face Aduana Football Club at the Baba Yara Stadium in their next league game.
