Legon Cities will head into match week eight of the Ghana Premier League hoping to secure their first win of the season against Accra Lions at the University of Ghana Stadium on October 25, 2024.
The Royals have yet to claim a victory this season, having faced a series of setbacks and underwhelming results.
A win for Paa Kwesi Fabian’s side would breathe new life into their campaign as they aim to change their fortunes.
With an outstanding fixture against Asante Kotoko scheduled for Wednesday, October 30, 2024, Legon Cities currently sit at the bottom of the league with one point, four goals scored, and a league-high twelve goals conceded.
They are eager to put their 3-0 loss to Berekum Chelsea last weekend behind them and secure their first win of the season.
Accra Lions, meanwhile, are looking for their second win of the campaign, having recorded one win, three draws, and three losses.
They currently sit fifth in the league standings and aim to rediscover the form that led them to a second-place finish behind FC Samartex last season.
The two teams have faced off three times since the 2020/2021 season, with Legon Cities holding one win, one draw, and one defeat against Accra Lions.
