Hearts of Oak crept back into the title race after results went their way last matchday.

Asante Kotoko remain top of the table but the gap has been narrowed after the Porcupines dropped points last week.

The relegation battle gets ever tighter with just six points separating six teams.

Here are four games you can’t afford to miss this weekend:

Eleven Wonders vs Hearts of Oak

Hearts of Oak are currently the team to beat in the league after the Phobians picked up their third consecutive win last matchday.

The resurgence in form by Samuel Boadu’s men can be attributed to Salifu Ibrahim, who’s beginning to find his feet.

Hearts as a result now sit just two points off the top of the table and could potentially climb to the summit this weekend.

Eleven Wonders on the hand also need maximum points.

They currently sit 14th, just one point above the relegation zone.

The Phobians are winless at Techiman against Wonders in two attempts and will be looking to end that poor run.

Stadium: Ohene Ameyaw park, Techiman

Time: Friday, 15:00GMT

Prediction: Eleven Wonders 1-2 Hearts of Oak

Asante Kotoko vs WAFA

Asante Kotoko will be after maximum points after dropping points against Liberty Professionals last week.

Despite the draw last matchday, the Porcupine Warriors are still unbeaten in four games and currently sit top of the table.

With just nine games to play, Mariano Barreto’s men know that their destiny is in their own hands.

The Len Clay stadium has been a good ground for Kotoko who have won their last two fixtures there.

WAFA have been extremely impressive in the second round winning four of their last five games.

Interestingly, the Academy boys who barely picked points away from home have now won two consecutive away games.

A warning to a Kotoko side that has conceded in each of their last three games.

Kotoko are very dominant at home against WAFA with the Sogakope-based club yet to register a win against the Porcupines on the road.

Stadium: Len Clay stadium, Obuasi

Time: Saturday, 15:00GMT

Prediction: Asante Kotoko 3-1 WAFA

Legon Cities vs Aduana Stars

The confidence in the camp of Legon Cities has been lifted after the Ghana Football Association awarded them all three points in their matchday 23 game against Ebusua Dwarfs.

The decision moves the Royals to 13th with 29 points giving them some breathing space.

The job is far from done as Bashir Hayford’s men are still just three points above the relegation zone.

Their home form could be bettered with just one win in their last three.

Aduana Stars won their first away game in three months, beating title contenders Great Olympics.

It was a vintage Aduana performance showing how good the Dormaa-based club can be.

Just six points off the top, a good run of form could see a late title charge from Aduana.

Stadium: Accra Sports stadium, Accra

Time: Sunday, 15:00GMT

Prediction: Legon Cities 2-2 Aduana Stars

Great Olympics vs Inter Allies

Inter Allies registered their biggest win of the season last week beating Berekum Chelsea 5-0.

A result that could prove to be pivotal in what has been an underwhelming season for the Eleven is to One.

With nine games to play, Inter Allies are still rooted at the bottom, four points from safety.

They play Great Olympics who will look to bounce back after their setback against Aduana last matchday.

Now five points off the top, the Dade boys can’t afford to drop anymore points if they want to be involved in a title charge.

Olympics won comfortably in the first round fixture and will be looking for a similar performance at home against Inter Allies.

Stadium: Accra Sports stadium, Accra

Time: Saturday, 15:00GMT

Prediction: Great Olympics 2-1 Inter Allies
