For the first time in four years, a Ghana Premier League season comes to a conclusion.
Hearts of Oak have been crowned champions, winning their 21st league title after a remarkable season.
Asante Kotoko weren’t strong enough to challenge but are still assured of second spot.
However, the Porcupine Warriors will play a role in a dramatic relegation battle.
Five more teams could still be relegated with two slots still available.
Here are four games you can’t afford to miss this weekend.
Hearts of Oak vs WAFA
A match of high significance although it won’t affect the title in any way.
It’s Hearts of Oak’s coronation match after securing the title last matchday with a draw against Liberty.
The Phobians would like to continue their current 11 game unbeaten run and finish the season on a high.
WAFA have other ideas and would aim to disrupt the party by beating the champions elect.
The Academy boys will like to solidify their grip on third place and take home medals and a cash prize as well.
No matter the events of the match, a Hearts of Oak party will be expected at the end of the match and you wouldn’t want to miss out on that.
Stadium: WAFA park, Sogakope
Time: Saturday, 15:00GMT
Prediction: WAFA 2-2 Hearts of Oak
Liberty Professionals vs King Faisal
Arguably the most anticipated match of the weekend.
A win for either side will guarantee them a place in the Premier League next season.
A draw could favour both sides but that will take their survival destiny out of their own hands.
King Faisal have the upper hand and have reached the 40 point mark. Liberty on the other hand are just one place above the relegation zone with 39 points.
It’ll be all to play for at the WAFA park on Sunday.
Stadium: WAFA park, Sogakope
Time: Sunday, 15:00GMT
Prediction: Liberty 2-1 King Faisal
Asante Kotoko vs Elmina Sharks
Asante Kotoko will remain second no matter what happens on the final day but they still have a massive role to play in the relegation fight.
They face second from bottom Elmina Sharks who need maximum points to stand a chance.
Sharks will have to beat Kotoko and also hope that other results go their way in order to stay in the league next season.
They’ll take motivation from the reverse fixture when they became the first side to beat the Porcupine Warriors on the road this season.
A similar result and fate going Sharks’ way could see a miraculous escape.
Stadium: Len Clay stadium, Obuasi
Time: Sunday, 15:00GMT
Prediction: Kotoko 1-1 Sharks
Aduana Stars vs Karela United
Aduana Stars will have one eye on the game between WAFA and Hearts of Oak at Sogakope.
If the home side fail to pick maximum points, Aduana could leapfrog them and finish in third place.
There is extra motivation to finish in the top three because of the inclusion of medals and an increased prize money.
Aduana have been very strong at home this season and avoiding defeat will see them complete the whole season unbeaten at home.
However, Karela won’t just be pushovers as they would want to finish the season strong with Diawisie Taylor still chasing his target of 17 goals.
Stadium: Agyeman Badu park, Dormaa
Time: Sunday, 15:00GMT
Prediction: Aduana 3-2 Karela
