The fixture between Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Medeama Sporting Club will be the game to keep an eye on in the matchday day 14 of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season.
The Porcupine Warriors are yet to transform their away performances into their home games but still themselves top of the league table with a game in hand. While Kotoko have lost two home games this season, Medeama have also not had a good time on the road, winning just two of their six away games.
Relegation battling Elmina Sharks have another game to worry about as they face Berekum Chelsea at the Ndoum Park on Sunday, January 23.
Sharks have lost all of their last seven league games, as they languish bottom of the table with just seven points from 13 games. Chelsea have twice the points of Sharks (14) and a win on Sunday could see them move higher up the table from their current 14th position.
Bibiani Gold Stars will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways after losing their last three games. The Miners play host to Legon Cities, who are just one point clear of Gold Stars heading into the fixture.
In-form Bechem United will welcome WAFA to the Nana Gyeabour Park in their next game with a place in the top three in mind.
Accra Great Olympics after a three-game winless run will face league contenders, King Faisal at the Accra Sports Stadium while Eleven Wonders also engage Real Tamale United in Techiman.
Earlier on Saturday, January 22, Accra Lions will be action against AshantiGold. Hearts of Oak will also take a trip to Anyinase, where they face Karela United in a tricky encounter at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park.
Dreams’ home game against Aduana Stars on Monday will see gameweek 14 come to an end.
