The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has pledged to collaborate closely with his running mate, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, to deliver bold solutions for challenges facing the people of Ghana.
Dr Bawumia described Dr Opoku Prempeh as a problem solver, highly knowledgeable, and a generational thinker.
Speaking to a large crowd at the unveiling of the Energy Minister in Kumasi on Tuesday, July 9, Dr Bawumia highlighted the impressive credentials of his running mate.
He emphasised that together, they are committed to addressing the key issues facing the country and implementing innovative solutions.
“Napo is knowledgeable. I have high respect for him. He is a problem solver and a generational thinker.
“We can work together and bring bold solutions to the people of Ghana. Our ticket is full of generational thinkers.”
At the same event, President Akufo-Addo expressed his confidence in the ability of Dr Bawumia and Dr Opoku Prempeh to meet the expectations of Ghanaians.
In his address, President Akufo-Addo stated that he has worked with both gentlemen and can vouch for their dedication and hard-working qualities.
He assured the crowd that their combined efforts will lead to significant progress and development for the nation.
President Akufo-Addo emphasised that the duo possesses the necessary skills and experience to effectively address the challenges facing Ghana.
“I have trust and confidence in the two of them to do the work. I have worked with the two and I know that they can do it. I know that on the 7th of December when Ghanaians have given them the mandate they will work to meet the expectations of Ghanaians,” President Akufo-Addo said.
