"I appreciate the efforts of the Minister responsible for the Interior, the IGP, police, and members of the public who have been in touch to provide vital information."
This follows an earlier statement on February 6, in which the Roads Minister urged the owner of the vehicle involved to cooperate with authorities:
"The beneficial owner of the vehicle which caused this extensive damage to the footbridge between Feista Royal and Nogahill Hotel on the N1 highway must immediately report to the police, assist with investigation, and take responsibility for the repair."

Kwame Agbodza emphasised that timely action and accountability are critical to restoring public infrastructure and preventing further disruptions to road users along the busy N1 highway.
