Artiste manager Nana Poku Ashis explained certain comments he made about Stonebwoy's recent London event.
In a conversation with DJ Slim on Daybreak Hitz, Ashis said an earlier statement he made cautioning Stonebwoy about the might of Alordia Tetteh and Dennis Tawiah in the field of event vending in the United Kingdom, spurred Stonebwoy on to put up a successful show.
"What some of us said actually propelled them to go hard at the event. Because later on, on a conversation with some of my people in the UK, the job the boys do on the ground will be a joke. You understand me? And that's what we want," he said.
He praised Stonebwoy's team for their hard work: "Stonebwoy is a huge brand. All they need to do is do their homework and research very well, know the marketing strategies at which they will place their tickets, and it's good to go. They have proved all of us that yes, their team worked extremely hard."
Ashis indicated that he does not have ill agenda against any artiste.
"I am not a Stonebwoy hater, I am not a Shatta Wale hater, I don't have any problem with no artistes in this country, and people don't know," he said.
With his comments, Nana Poku Ashes has set the record straight on his stance towards Ghanaian artists and has acknowledged the hard work and dedication of Stonebwoy's team.
