Hundreds of sympathisers, friends, family members, church members and residents from Ho and its environs have thronged the community cemetery in Agortime Kpetoe to pay their last respect to the late Kafui Harriet Hiati.
Miss Hiati was the 25-year-old lady who was allegedly murdered by her boyfriend , a popular Ho footballer Jay Dodoye in March.
The suspect is said to have slit his girlfriend’s throat and then tried hanging himself, and when that didn’t work, he stabbed himself in the stomach twice, but he still did not die.
He is currently receiving treatment whilst the Ho Police Command continues with its investigations.
