Police have arrested three more individuals suspected of being connected to the high-profile gold robbery at Adabraka, following months of covert monitoring and intelligence-driven investigations.
The latest arrests were made on Monday, January 19, 2026, during an operation in Ashaiman.
The suspects have been named as Nashiru Abubakari, known as Soldier; Fatao Mohammed, also referred to as Motorway; and another individual identified by the alias 50 Cent.
With these arrests, the number of people in police custody over the robbery has risen to seven, after four other key suspects were earlier picked up in connection with the case.
Police say investigations remain active, with efforts focused on identifying and arresting additional accomplices who are believed to have played roles in the operation.
Security sources also indicate that work is ongoing to retrieve items linked to the robbery as part of the broader investigation.
The suspects are currently being held by the police and will be arraigned before court in line with established legal procedures.
