General Lance Corporal Victor Antwi Yeboah, the officer who was captured in a video sexually harassing a female in a vehicle has been remanded to reappear in court on December 1, 2021.
The court presided over by His Worship, Eric Denning remanded the officer after he pleaded not guilty to two charges against him when he appeared before the Sunyani District Court B on Monday, November 29, 2021.
Lance Corporal Yeboah of the Bono Regional Police Command is currently facing charges of assault and indecent assault which are contrary to sections 84 and 103 of the Criminal Offences Act 29.
The Police on November 27, 2021, arrested General Lance Corporal Victor Antwi Yeboah for allegedly sexually harassing a female in a vehicle.

A press release signed by the Director-General of Public Affairs, ACP Kwesi Ofori, noted that the officer had violated the dignity of the victim.
"The Police Administration has seen a video in which a person in a Police uniform was captured allegedly sexually harassing a female in a car. On reviewing the video, the Police Administration immediately launched an investigation into the accident.
“Preliminary investigation indicates that the male person involved in that shameful and despicable act is a Police officer stationed at the Regional Operations Unit, Bono Regional Police Command,” parts of the statement read.
The viral video sighted by Myjoyonline.com shows the Police officer kissing and touching the thighs of the victim, while she registers her displeasure over the incident. He threatens to slap her.
She screams: “What are you doing? Are you touching me?” and the Police officer replies: “I will slap you…we are not doing anything…and you are naked and I am touching.”
