The PK Amoabeng Leadership Foundation has opened applications for the fourth cohort of its flagship Scholars Programme, a one-year leadership initiative aimed at developing ethical, disciplined and resilient young leaders for Ghana and Africa.

The foundation, established by Captain (Rtd.) Prince Kofi Amoabeng, said the programme was designed to respond to what he considers a critical leadership deficit that threatens Africa’s development potential.

In a release on August 4, 2026, Executive Director of the PK Amoabeng Leadership Foundation, Rachael Awinsu Alabilla, said the programme targets high-potential individuals between 18 and 40 years, with selected scholars undergoing an intensive curriculum intended to equip them with the integrity, resilience and leadership skills needed to contribute meaningfully to society.

Unlike programmes focused solely on classroom instruction, the Scholars Programme combines military training, leadership boot camps, one-on-one mentorship, job shadowing, cultural immersion and leadership seminars.

The foundation said its broader objective is to nurture ethical, entrepreneurial and patriotic leaders capable of influencing positive change and helping to transform the future of the continent.

It said its core values — Integrity, Professionalism, Innovation and Respect for All — are integrated into every aspect of the year-long programme.

Application details

Applications for Cohort 4 opened on August 3, 2026, and will close on September 15, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. GMT.

Applicants must be between 18 and 40 years and are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of GH¢100.

Applications can be submitted through the foundation's designated application portal.
