A leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Milton Keynes, Richmond Mensah, has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Chairman of the party’s UK Branch, promising transparent, honest and results-oriented leadership.
Announcing his bid, Mr Mensah said his decision was grounded in his many years of dedicated service to the party and his strong track record of commitment both in Ghana and abroad.
“My decision is grounded in my many years of dedicated service to the party and a strong track record of commitment both in Ghana and abroad,” he stated.
Speaking at the Luton Chapter meeting, the chairman, hopeful, emphasised that leadership should be based on proven service, record and integrity rather than mere promises.
According to him, his long-standing involvement in party activities at different levels has prepared him adequately to lead the UK branch at what he described as a crucial time.
Mr Mensah also touched on the need for the party to remain united, describing unity as a key element for victory in the 2028 elections.

“In all of these, we must unite as a party behind the flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia. It is only unity that can send us back to power. I will lead the unity agenda in this branch if elected chairman,” he said.
He further pledged to remain faithful to party members and to work within his capacity to ensure the growth and success of the NPP UK Branch.
Mr Mensah also underscored his commitment to honesty and straightforward leadership, describing himself as a man of truth.
“I call on delegates and members of the NPP UK Branch to support my candidacy,” he concluded with a direct appeal.
