SIC Insurance PLC has paid an insurance claim of GH₵ 1,541,446.19 to GCB Bank PLC.
The claim was processed under GCB Bank’s Bankers Blanket Policy.

At a brief ceremony held at the GCB Bank Head Office in Accra, the Acting Managing Director of SIC Insurance PLC, James Agyenim-Boateng, presented the cheque to the bank’s Deputy Managing Director (Finance), Mr Socrates Afram.
Expressing his appreciation, Mr Agyenim-Boateng commended GCB Bank for its longstanding business relationship with SIC Insurance and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to honouring its obligations.

He emphasised that SIC Insurance PLC remains a stable and financially robust institution that pays claims promptly. He encouraged businesses and stakeholders within the insurance sector to prioritise working with SIC.
Highlighting recent payments made by the company, Mr Agyenim-Boateng disclosed that SIC Insurance had also recently paid over one million US dollars ($1 million) in claims to a client in Accra, and seven hundred and eighty thousand dollars ($780,000) to another company in Tema.
“At SIC Insurance PLC, we value our relationship with GCB Bank. We take our promises seriously because our promises are sacred. Stand by us, and when difficult times come, we will chase you with your cheque to come and present it to you,” he remarked humorously.

In response, Mr Socrates Afram expressed GCB Bank’s appreciation for the strong partnership with SIC Insurance, noting that the relationship has been mutually beneficial for both institutions.
The event further reinforced SIC Insurance PLC’s commitment to supporting its clients and honouring its insurance obligations without delay.
