Bhim Fest, the annual flagship music festival created by global music icon Stonebwoy, is back for its 8th edition.
Following the record-breaking success of last year’s event, this year’s edition will debut a new venue: the beach.
Scheduled for Sunday, December 22, 2024, at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, Ghana, the festival promises a vibrant weekend of music, art, community, and the celebration of Stonebwoy's new album, "UP & RUNNIN6".
The event aims to honour and unite African and Caribbean heritage through a meticulously curated lineup of artists from across the continent and the diaspora.
“BHIM FEST 2023 was a significant cultural milestone for Ghana’s December festive season. We had incredible performances from some of the biggest voices of our time. This year, we’re set to take things up a notch with even more energy and excitement. The lineup will be announced in the lead-up to the festival!” said the organizers.
Cementing Ghana's position on the global map as home to one of the leading and highly acclaimed Afrobeats, dancehall, and reggae festivals in Africa, the 7th edition in 2023 marked BHIM FEST’s most successful year with over 55,000 attendees from around the globe converged to experience the sold-out event at the Accra Sports Stadium. The festival was headlined by Stonebwoy, alongside Jamaican reggae and dancehall artists Jahmiel and 10Tik, as well as a stellar roster of Ghanaian talents.
Since its inception, BHIM FEST has grown into Ghana’s largest and heavily attended artist-led music festival. Over the years, it has featured an impressive lineup of renowned African and Caribbean artists, including Busy Signal, Beenie Man, Morgan Heritage, Jahmiel, 10Tik, and more. This year’s edition promises to elevate the festival experience, blending music with cultural celebration in a stunning seaside setting.
