Following the recent events in the Republic of Sudan and the deterioration of the security situation in this brotherly country, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God glorify Him, has given His High Instructions to ensure the repatriation of Moroccan nationals from Sudan, said, Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates in a statement.
In accordance with the High Royal Instructions, the services of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Sudan have, in a first phase, organized a land caravan from the capital Khartoum to the city of Port-Sudan, which benefited more than 200 Moroccan nationals established in Sudan or whose presence in this country coincided with this difficult domestic situation, added the ministry, specifying that this land caravan arrived this Monday evening safely in the city of Port-Sudan.
HM the King, may God preserve Him, has also given His High Instructions for the organization of an airlift in coordination with the Royal Air Maroc to ensure the repatriation of Moroccan nationals and their families in the best conditions, the same source concluded.
