Andre Ayew – Swansea City

Swansea vice-captain Andre Ayew scored a brace which helped his side end a run of six league games without a win as they defeated nine-man Middlesbrough at the Liberty Stadium.

The 28-year-old winger found the net just after 20 minutes, converting from the spot after being bundled over by Dael Fry inside the box.

Swansea took full advantage of a red card handed to Boro’ Marcus Browne with Ayew grabbing his ninth of the season to win 3-1.

Thomas Partey made his 15th La Liga appearance of the season as Atletico Madrid got the better of Osasuna in a 2-0 win at the Wanda Metropolitano on Saturday night.

Los Rojiblancos were without a victory in their previous three league matches, drawing two and losing one, which dropped them out of the top four

Partey completed 90 minutes of play for the eighth time this term, putting together 35 accurate passes at 74.5%, 63 touches, one shot on target, two successful dribbles from two attempts, one interception, two clearances and three tackles.
