Bibiani Gold Stars missed a chance to extend their lead at the top of the Ghana Premier League table after a 2-0 defeat away at Vision FC.
Golden Stars, who had kept three successive clean sheets prior to the game, were able to keep the home side at bay, with the first half ending goalless.
However, an Edward Agyemang strike, ten minutes into the second half, put the home side ahead and on course for a famous victory.
Edmond Asante put the cherry on top, four minutes to time with a well taken goal, to hand Nana Kweku Agyemang’s side a much deserved win.
The win takes Vision FC back above Accra Lions to 14th on the league log, while Gold Stars’ lead at the top has been cut to just two points.
