The Volta Regional Minister, James Gunu, has fulfilled a pledge of GH₵10,000 to the Volta Regional branch of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA).
His contribution, which comes at a crucial time for the association’s development agenda, has been met with widespread appreciation from members who describe the gesture as both timely and inspirational.
“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Gunu for honouring his commitment. His generosity demonstrates not only his dedication to the cause of the association but also his deep understanding of the power of collective progress,” the leadership said in a statement.
The association further expressed appreciation to all members who have pledged their support and are expected to redeem their contributions by the end of the month.
“We are optimistic that others will follow Mr. Gunu’s example. May God bless everyone who has pledged, so they too may become vessels of blessing to our cause.”
This latest act of support is seen as a major morale booster and is expected to encourage other members to fulfil their financial commitments, ensuring the association’s continued growth and impact.
