Aduana Stars striker Yahaya Mohammed was handed a deserved Ghana recall as Charles Kwabla Akonnor announced his first squad.
CK Akonnor announced the squad at a news conference in Accra on Tuesday.
The 32-year-old has been rewarded for his impressive season in the Ghana Premier League. He has scored 10 goals in 12 matches and sits top of the goal scorer’s chart along with Nigerien Victorien Adebayor.
Yahaya hasn’t played for the Black Stars since his debut in 2007 but has been a regular in local Black Stars team.

Aside, Yahaya Mohammed three local players have also been invited by the head coach. They are Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Richard Attah, Asante Kotoko central defender Habib Mohammed and AshantiGold left-back Kwadwo Amoako.
