President Akufo-Addo on Friday announced that movements in some urban areas in the country will be restricted from Monday, March 30, 2020, for two weeks as part of government's measures to control the spread of the coronavirus.
Today on Newsfile, the panelists assessed the potential impacts of the latest decision on various sectors of the country.
Participating in this deliberation were General Secretary of the Ghana Medical Association Dr Justice Yankson, Complex Emergencies Expert and Fellow, IMANI-Africa Casely Ato Coleman, Economist and Professor of Finance at the University of Ghana, Prof Godfred Bokpin and Conflict Analyst and Member, of the Council on Foreign Relations-Ghana, Col. Festus Aboagye (Rtd).
The show also assessed the clinical issues and how to better deal with the coronavirus disease.
Discussants were the Director-General of the Ghana Health Service Dr Patrick Aboagye, Physician, Public Health Consultant, Academic & Researcher at the University of Ghana Medical School and Respiratory Therapist at Montefiore Medical Center of Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, Prof Alfred Edwin Fiifi Yawson and Jibril Yahaya Luwaa .
