Some academics have mounted strong opposition to government's Public University Bill seeking to harmonise the governance, administration and accountability structures of public universities.
This morning on Newsfile, host Samson Lardy Anyenini and his guests discussed why associations like UTAG and university administrations are fighting the bill.
They also looked into why the government is in a hurry to pass the bill into law.
