Television and Radio host and entrepreneur, Jay Foley now a pilot? The host of Prime Morning thrilled viewers on Tuesday’s “Bits and Bytes” segment with his hidden piloting skills and this has sparked a conversation on social media with people asking if he is already an experienced pilot?
Jay, who usually evaluates the latest trends in tech and the Internet space with one of Multimedia Group’s tech geniuses, Kobby Spiky demonstrated how to fly a plane on live TV during the “Bits and Bytes” segment.
Using a flight stimulator software, the two were able to simulate the flying of a plane. They started by selecting an aircraft and then proceeded to choose the location of their flight, finally opting to travel from Kotoka International to Takoradi airport.
Perhaps the most interesting part of the whole segment was how eerily realistic the game was; Jay having to request for takeoff from air traffic control, and the numerous controls that you’d expect a real-life airplane to have.
The duo, however, cautioned viewers that the virtual simulator was not comparable to how an actual plane works, advising that no one should equate a fun game to the ability to fly a plane as it will fail and cause loss of lives and properties.
Prime Morning airs on Joy Prime on week days at 6am prompt.
