Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has launched a foundation to help the youth through social-economic interventions.
Dubbed the Shatta Foundation, the musician is hoping to make social changes in areas like education, healthcare, human capital development, capacity building and skills development.
The Foundation's interventions in healthcare will include periodic medical screening at various communities and will be in partnership with pharmaceutical companies to provide drugs to the underprivileged as needed.
Shatta Wale also launched a back to school campaign to motivate kids to both got to school and stay in school as well.
Taking to Twitter he wrote, “The primary aim for me and my team is to always put smile on people faces through entertainment and financial support.”

Shatta Wale hopes that his Foundation contributes to building a better society, as well as creating a great future for everyone.

He urged his followers to “be part of the generation that came to help change our society.”
