The Ghana Football Association (GFA) have confirmed Richard Ofori, Lumor Agbebyenu and John Antwi will miss the Black Stars friendly games against Mali and Qatar.
The three have dropped out of the squad due to various reasons, which the GFA revealed on their website, Sunday.
Ofori, who is Black Stars first-choice goalkeeper and deputy captain, will miss the games because his work permit has expired and would require at least, two weeks for it to be renewed.
Striker John Antwi is not available due to difficulties in securing a visa to travel to Turkey. John’s work permit has also expired and would need not less than two weeks to secure a new one.
For left-back Lumor, he could also not apply for a visa due to work permit complications.
The games are scheduled to take place in Antalya, Turkey, with Black Stars expected to play Mali on Friday, October 9, 2020, before taking on Qatar in three days later.
Akonnor will use the games to assess the team ahead of next month's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sudan.
