Nigeria's finance minister has said the government was working on a budget to procure Covid-19 vaccines.
Minister Zainab Ahmed said the amount to be set aside would be finalised in the coming two weeks.
She said lawmakers were committed to passing a supplementary budget if need be.
The budget office director general, Ben Akabueze, said the country was expecting donations for vaccines for 20% of the population then will procure more to achieve herd immunity.
Nigeria has so far confirmed 102,601 cases of the virus including 1,373 deaths.
