The Supreme Court today began hearing on the substantial matters of the election petition brought before it by the 2020 NDC Presidential Candidate.
Mr. John Dramani Mahama who has disputed the results declared by the Electoral Commission is urging the apex court to order a re-run of the presidential polls.




Following the consideration of all pending motions before the court, the 7-member panels of judges have moved for the substantive hearing to resume.


At today’s hearing, the General-Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, who is one of two witnesses for former President John Mahama, took his turn in the witness box to testify against the EC.
