The Ashanti Regional representative to the council of state, Nana Owusu Achiaw Brempong has been retained.
He managed to poll 77 of the total ballot cast, followed by Bonwirehene Nana Bobie Ansah who had six votes.
James Nana Prempeh had three votes, and the remaining three failed to poll a vote after two withdrew from the race.
Seven other people filed nominations to contest the Ashanti Region's representative, Nana Owusu Achiaw.

Two of the candidates, Justice Baffour Awuah and James Adusei-Sarkodie, stepped down before the elections started with Mr.Awuah throwing his weight behind the incumbent.
86 delegates, two from each of the 43 Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assembly.
Intermittently, confusion rocked the election as some delegates attempted to take pictures of their ballot cast.
Police had to step in to help the Electoral Commission maintain peace and keep the process going.
Suspense which comes with counting of elections ended at the count of ballots of Nana Owusu Achiaw who was first on the list after he polled 77 voted.
Meanwhile, the elected representative, Nana Owusu Achiaw Brempong pledged to work within the dictates of the constitution.
