The Supreme Court of Ghana has today, March 4, given the final judgment on the 2020 election petition hearing.
This followed the submission of the closing arguments of all the lawyers for the parties in the case as directed by the seven-member panel of judges headed by the Chief Justice, Kwasi Anin Yeboah.
The 2020 NDC Presidential Candidate, former President John Dramani Mahama dragged the Electoral Commission and President Akufo-Addo to court, challenging the validity of the December 7 election results.
The Justices of the Supreme Court have however ruled that the case has no merit and has thus dismissed it.
