A fire outbreak has gutted many stores at the Techiman Central market on Monday afternoon in the Bono East Region.
Reports reaching JoyNews indicate that many goods worth thousands of cedis have been destroyed by the inferno.
Meanwhile, personnel of the Regional Fire Command have visited the scene with five different fire tenders trying to put out the fire which started at 12:30 pm.
The cause of the fire which has affected several shops in the market still remains unknown.
