The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service has put together a team to probe the allegations of bribery and match fixing that hit the Ghana Premier League Match day 34 clash between Ashanti Gold and Inter Allies FC.
The team is headed by a Commissioner of Police (COP) and supported by other Divisions within the Police Service.
This follows a meeting between the head of the country’s football governing body Kurt Okraku and the Director General of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service, COP Isaac Ken Yeboah last month.
The Ghana Football Association members of the public, the media and players, to contact the Investigative team at the CID Headquarters in Accra to volunteer information.
