Some NPP constituency and polling station executives including electoral area coordinators in the Kumawu constituency of the Ashanti region have petitioned national executives to conduct election in 24 polling stations and 25 electoral areas to avoid any disturbance.
Constituency secretary told the media that, elections did not take place in these areas, but 146 names have found their way into the delegates' album, which is against the constitution of the party.

Freduah Agyemang also said that, only 254 out of 400 names in the compiled delegates album submitted to the regional executives are genuine.
"They are people who have not duly elected by the electorates but they have found their names and pictures in this register."
Mr. Agyemang described the registry as fraudulent and fake, and that is why it is being brought to the attention of the public.
The party supporters in a protest march also petitioned the Paramount Chief of the Kumawu traditional area, Barimah Sarfo Tweneboa Kodua to intervene and urge Member of Parliament, Philip Basoah to ensure peace prevails.

They want the party leadership to sanction those involved as they are tarnishing the image of the governing NPP.
Some members expressed concern about the attitude of the regional representative and their Member of Parliament who they believe can not help break the 8.
