Fast rising rapper and singer, Black Sherif, says he will be not perturbed if he fails to win an award at this year's Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
He made this known in an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz 103.9 FM, after he was asked how he would feel should he not be adjudged any awards at the event this year.
Responding to the question, the “Adeakye” singer, said he will not be disappointed.
According to him, everyone who has been nominated is automatically a winner, so if he does not win, and his colleague does, at the end of the day, they are all winners.
"No, I won't be disappointed, because everyone who has been nominated in every category deserves it so if I don't win and my brother wins, we win", he said.
Even though he made it known that he will not disappointed if no award comes his way, he went on to say that he has his eyes on all the 7 categories he has been nominated in.
"I want to win all the categories," he noted.
Black Sherif has been nominated in the Artiste of the Year category, Vodafone Most Popular Song of the Year, Best Hiplife/Hip-Hop Artiste, Best Hip-Hop Song, Best Male Vocal Performance, Best International Collaboration as well as the Best New Artiste of the Year categories respectively.
The event is expected to be held on the 6th and 7th of May at the Grand Arena of Accra International Conference Centre.
