Entrepreneur and founder of Purple Trendz Ghana, Joyce Owusu has said that it is easier to trade with men than women.
This is because men do not bargain much when purchasing goods and services, unlike women.
She also attributed her point to the fact that men are easily convinced to buy things they have much interest in.
She made these comments during a conversation with Asieduwaa Akumia on Prime Morning.
"Men do not have those bargaining skills. If they want it, like it, and feel it, they’ll buy it. With women, they’ll ask you to reduce the price.
"You quote GH¢50; they’ll quote GH¢25. Meanwhile, your profit is not even up to that ¢25," she said on Monday.
Even though it is difficult to trade with women, the entrepreneur still expressed her liking for them because they are more attracted to new things.
As much as women always ask for discounts, she appreciates the fact that they are always available to purchase new arrivals, but men although easily convinced, she said they appear once in a blue moon.
"For the men, when they get three kaftans, they’re ok for like the next year or six months. Ladies, no. For every occasion, they want to look new and different," she stated.
The entrepreneur advised ladies to stop apportioning blame on others when unsuccessful.
"You can be whoever and whatever you want to be, and the only person that can stop you from becoming that is yourself," she urged.
