Dreams Football Club will play in the semi-final of the 2022/23 MTN FA Cup following their 1-0 win over Legon Cities in the quarterfinal on Friday, April 7.
Ebenezer Adade netted in extra time of the game to ensure that the Believers saw out competition from the Royals to book a place in the final four.
Dreams were the better team throughout the majority part of the game as they saw more of the ball and dictated the flow of the game but were unable to through the visitors in the opening half of the game.
The second half was not any different from the opening half as both sides did very little to find the opener with the game needing extra time to determine who goes through.
The breakthrough, however, came in the 103rd minute as Adade went on a solo run before beating the Legon Cities goalkeeper.
Despite a late attempt to get the equaliser, the visitors were unable to and were sent packing from the competition, adding more pressure on Maxwell Konadu, whose team find themselves in the relegation zone.
