Phone device dealers whose shops were ravaged by fire on Sunday, May 21 were busily clearing the rubble on Monday morning to pave the way for repair works so they can commence their trading activities.

A fire outbreak which occurred at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle destroyed mobile phone shops and other properties running to millions of cedis.

The cause of the fire is not immediately known but it is suspected to be an electrical fault.

While some of the affected shop owners were busily clearing debris, others were standing in groups discussing the incident.

Some of them said they were running their business with bank loans and the tragedy will bring untold hardship to them, therefore, they appealed to government for financial support.
