Former Western Regional Football Association chairman, Kojo Yankah, has disclosed that he has already mapped out his campaign strategy he intends to use to convince delegates to vote for him during the October 2023 Ghana Football Association (GFA) presidential election.
The former journalist declared his intent to contest incumbent Kurt E. S Okraku for the GFA top position in four months.
The former GFA Executive Council member said he has done all his planning and what he is seeking to do for Ghana football when elected, but he will not dislose that now.
When asked about his plans in an interview with Joy Sports, he responded, "even if I have done it, I will not confirm it now because I have my strategy. I know the way I will do my campaign.
"For now, even if I have it, I will not declare it now. For the strategy, I have mapped it out."
He also claimed that Kurt Okraku has not united the football family when he took over in 2019, adding that he is the best person to fix it.
"When he was elected, he said something and a lot of the football people were not happy and up to now [they are still not happy]. He said he cannot work with his enemies and people are still not happy because of that people don’t even want to go to the FA.
"So that disunity is happening now. The love we use to have, we share things together, we share things together, is no more.
"That is why we have to look at that particular problem to bring us back again."
There is no official roadmap for the GFA election expected to be held in October this year.
