Nigerian comedian and actor AY Makun lost his house to a fire outbreak, on Sunday.
In a video that went viral, the roof of the comedian’s house and some sections of the home was on fire.
A fire service truck was seen in front of the home while neighbours also rushed out of theirs to see the commotion.
In an Instagram post, the comedian revealed that his family are on vacation in the US and as such were safe from the fire.
AY Makun took to his page to express his gratitude to God for the safety of his family.
He wrote: “Family and God. That is what’s important. Everything else comes and goes. Can’t wait to join you guys in the US in a few days.”
Fans have also taken to social media to sympathise with the comedian. They flooded the comments section of his post, offering their prayers, consoling words, and well wishes.
Meanwhile, the cause of the fire outbreak is still unknown.
