Three people have sustained various degrees of injury following a riot at a Circuit Court in Tamale.
This comes as shots were fired amid the chaos at the court where a man allegedly described as the supplier of drugs is standing trial.
One of the victims was rushed to the Tamale Regional Hospital and is currently at the theatre receiving treatment.
The second victim at that facility who was hit on the thigh is being prepared to be referred to the Tamale Teaching Hospital.

Earlier on, a woman who also sustained injuries in a leg was moved to the teaching hospital.
There have been conflicting reports regarding what triggered the incident that resulted in the firing of shots by the police.
Meanwhile, Police have arrested 13 people involved in the incident.
