The President's lawyer, Kow Essuman has commended Dr Daniel McKorkely for investing in the salt mining industry of the country.
Mr Essuman is of the view that the industry has a huge untapped potential and can create massive job opportunities for unemployed youth.
In a post on X on Wednesday, August 30, he commended the government for creating the enabling environment for such businesses to thrive.
"Today, the President of the Republic, @NAkufoAddo, commissioned ElectroChem Ghana Limited’s Salt Processing Plant at Ada Songor, Sege. Kudos to McDan for this major investment in salt mining and creating jobs for the people in Sege and Ada," he posted.

President Akufo-Addo on Wednesday, commissioned the Electrochem Salt Mine and Processing Plant.
The salting mining company located in Songhor, Ada, is the latest addition to the McDan group of companies.
Present at the launch were Dr Daniel McKorkely, Lands and Natural Resources Minister, Samuel Abu Jinapor, Trades and Industry Minister, K.T. Hammond, and Greater Accra Regional Minister, Henry Quartey.
