Crystal Palace forward, Jordan Ayew, has now become Ghana’s fourth-most capped player after his substitute appearance in the 3-1 victory over Liberia on Tuesday.
The 32-year-old surpassed John Paintsil, who amassed 91 appearances, to reach the 92-game milestone.
He now trails only Andre Ayew, Asamoah Gyan, and Richard Kingson in Ghana’s all-time appearance list. Meanwhile, Andre further solidified his lead at the top of the list with a total of 115 games, having also made a late appearance in the Liberia match.

Jordan Ayew entered the game as a substitute for Ernest Nuamah in the 62nd minute and went on to score the third goal in the 82nd minute.
With this goal, he has also overtaken his father in terms of goals scored for the Black Stars, now reaching the 20-goal mark, while his father, Abedi Pele, concluded his career with 19.
Jordan made his Black Stars debut in 2010 during a 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against eSwatini.
