Head coach of Ampem Darkoa Ladies, Joe Nana Adarkwah, says he remains focused on progressing to the next round of the ongoing CAF Women's Champions League ahead of their game against AS Mande on Thursday.
The former Techiman City gaffer explained earlier at a presser on Wednesday his side has thrown out the glee from beating the defending champions and are ready to face the Malians.
The second game of the tournament, according to Adarkwa, is pertinent as a win secures his side the top spot and a possible qualification to the next round.
"We are not distracted at all. We are happy we won our first game, though, but the next game against As Mande is equally important, and we have to win," he told the press.
"Our immediate target is to top group B and hopefully quality to the next stage, and the only way out is to beat As Mande."
Adarkwa added that his team remain determined and will approach the second game like they did in the first for a similar result.
"We are going into tomorrow's game with the same level of determination and game plan, and hopefully, we will get another win," he continued.
Ampem Darkoa will take on AS Mande at the Laurent Pokou stadium on November 9 with kickoff scheduled for 20:00 GMT.
