Nigerian musician, Victor Eugenie Adere, popularly known as Victor AD, has revealed that he has yet-to-be released songs with some popular Ghanaian artistes.
These revelations surfaced in an interview with Kwame Dadzie on Joy FM’s Showbiz A to Z that was aired on Saturday, November 11, where he listed some of the musicians with whom he collaborated but the songs remain unreleased.
"The ones that are out I did with Mr Drew, Sister Afia, and I have unreleased ones with Medikal, Kelvyn Boy, Wendy Shay, and Kuami Eugene,"he said in the interview.
The Nigeria-based artiste added that Ghanaians contributed hugely to his breakthrough in the music industry, saying that his song, “Wetin We Gain,” attained popularity in Ghana prior to his homeland, Nigeria.
Since then, the singer has developed a great deal of interest in Ghana as a whole and its musicians, in particular.
“It was bigger in Ghana first before Nigeria, and by then I didn’t have a passport. The next thing, I got a call to come to Ghana, and I was like, I haven’t even done anything in Nigeria. I didn’t know anybody when the song blew up in Ghana,” he added.
Victor AD gave his first major stage performance for his hit song during the 2018 S concert in Ghana, as he was part of the A-list artistes.
