The Parliamentary Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Ketu North constituency in the Volta Region, Eric Edem Agbana has launched an initiative dubbed “Edem Agbana Water For All Project.”
The project is aimed at providing mechanized boreholes to communities in the constituency.
The initiative was launched on New Year's Day with the commissioning of two newly constructed mechanized boreholes for the Afife Klayekope and Adrume Hormeglobo respectively.

The first two projects were financed by the BKQ Foundation, an Accra-based philanthropic organization that is dedicated to community development.
Speaking at the launch on Tuesday, January 16, the project lead for the initiative, Daniel Kporha said the team intends to complete and commission forty mechanized boreholes this year, and an additional sixty boreholes in 2025.

He stated that the vision of Edem Agbana is to ensure that by 2028, no community in Ketu North should face challenges with potable water.
Speaking at the event, Edem Agbana praised the incumbent MP for Ketu North, Dr. James Klutse Avedzi for various development initiatives.
He particularly praised Mr. Avedzi for extending water and electricity coverage to several communities in the constituency.

“The Water for All Project is possible because my predecessors have laid a solid foundation. I will build on it and ensure that no community in Ketu North is without potable water by 2028. It is possible because we are determined to do so”.
Mr Edem Agbana also asked for support from individuals, institutions, and NGOs to complete the rest of the projects.

The chiefs and people of the beneficiary communities expressed their profound gratitude for the projects while promising to take good care of them.
