The Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has extended condolences to the family of the late Deputy Finance Minister, John Kumah.
The 45-year-old MP passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024, leaving behind his wife and six children.
Accompanied by the Chief of Staff, Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), and other government and party officials, Dr Bawumia visited the family of the late Member of Parliament for Ejisu.

In a subsequent Facebook post, Dr. Bawumia lamented the NPP's loss of a dedicated member.

“I had the opportunity to work with John on several projects to my greatest admiration. Indeed, Ghana and the NPP have lost a hardworking son.”

“My deepest condolences to Lilian and the children, his mother, the entire family, and all loved ones. John, Damirifa Due!,” he stated.
