The Minister for Youth and Sports, Mustapha Ussif, is set to 'surprise' Dreams FC with a package ahead of their game against Zamalek, according to the spokesperson of the Ministry, Charles Amofah.
The Ghana Premier League side will face the Egyptian giants at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, April 28, in the second leg of their CAF Confederation Cup semi-final.
Dreams, playing in the continental competition for the first time, are chasing a place in the final after holding the Zamalek to a 0-0 stalemate in the first encounter.
Ahead of the crucial fixture, which could also play a role in Ghana attaining additional slots for inter-club competitions on the continent, the Still Believes lads could be boosted by the visit of Ussif.
"It will be a big surprise for Dreams FC before the match. Both the Minister and the Deputy will be in Kumasi," said Amofah in an interview with Asempa FM.
"An elder does not pay a visit with empty hands.
"I assure the club that they will receive good news from the government."
Dreams are yet to lose a game at home in the competition and will be counting on fans at the Baba Yara Stadium to see them through the challenge ahead.
