Ghanaian rapper, Osei Kwaku Vincent popularly known in showbiz circles as Strongman, has asserted that he has never initiated any ‘beefs’ with anyone in the music industry.
His statement debunked online allegations that he was only popular because he was usually involved in ‘beefs’ with other celebrities.
Speaking to Roselyn Felli on Joy Prime’s Prime Morning, he discredited the rumours and said that he was not to blame for those instances.
“I don’t trend on 'beefs' because I don’t throw first shots. I only do replies.” The rapper explained.
He added that the reason he even replies is because he needs to put people in the right place.
Comparing ‘beef’ scenarios to insurance principals, he said that he needed to give them a taste of their own medicine.
“We have indemnity in insurance principals, which talks about you restoring a person to their former position. If someone insures a range rover and it catches fire, the insurance company is supposed to compensate the person with a Range Rover, not with an Elantra. So if you come and fool, I need to tell you that no matter what you’re doing, you need to stop.”
Strongman reiterated that he didn’t start ‘beefs’ but he for sure knew how to finish them.
“I don’t start the 'beefs'. So any beef that you see me being involved in, I didn’t start it. The people started it, and I helped them finish it,” he said.
