The Ghana Football Association will seek clarification from FIFA regarding the potential conflict of interest involving Kwasi Appiah in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Ghana is set to face Sudan in the qualification series, a team managed by Appiah, who also serves as an Executive Council Member of the GFA.
Although no GFA statutes prevent him from holding jobs elsewhere, concerns have been raised about his dual role and the possible implications of working for two different associations in the same competition.
"Kwasi Appiah was duly elected into office. It is within his right to accept any job opportunity that comes to him," Communication Director of the Ghana FA, Henry Asante Twum told JoySports in an exclusive interview.
"It is an issue of governance, what is right and what is not right. We will consult FIFA governance on the matter and act on what they say."
Ghana will also face Angola and Niger in Group F of the qualifiers, which are expected to kick off in September this year.
