The Black Princesses of Ghana ended their involvement at the FIFA U-20 World Cup with a win on Sunday night.
Ghana recorded a 3-1 win over New Zealand in their final group game to end the competition on a high.
A brace from Salamatu Abdulai and another from Tracey Twum sealed a consolation victory for Yussif Basigi's side in the competition.
Basigi made changes to the team that faced Japan in the second group game with Jenna Sarpong, Sarah Kulible, Jennifer Owusuaa and Salamatu coming into the starting lineup.
The Black Princesses started off as the stronger team and dominated play in the early exchanges but failed to open the scoring as both teams went into the break barren.
It didn't take long for Ghana to strike in the second half.
Salamatu Abdulai headed home the first goal of the game to give Ghana the lead.
New Zealand grabbed the equaliser four minutes after the deadlock had been broken with a delightful chip beating Ghanaian goalkeeper Jenna Sarpong.
The national U-20 side was far from done as Salamatu restored Ghana's lead in the 72nd minute and Tracey Twum wrapped up the win with a rebound in the 95th minute.
Despite the victory, Ghana exits the tournament having failed to progress as one of the four best third-placed teams.
